Amy Rusk is University Legal Counsel and joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2025. Her primary practice areas include sponsored research contracting, data privacy, intellectual property, human participants research, and other transactional matters. Prior to this role, Amy served as a Manager at Huron Consulting Group, where she led a national team supporting more than 15 academic and medical research institutions in drafting and negotiating research contracts. Amy earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park.
