Laure Rakvic-Farr

Laure Rakvic-Farr joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2022 and is Senior University Legal Counsel. In her role as a health lawyer with the Office, Laure advises physicians employed by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and other members of the University’s health sciences schools on a variety of matters.

Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Laure was employed in both the private and public sectors.  Following law school, she worked in private practice as a civil litigation defense attorney.  Laure has worked for the state of Wisconsin since 2015 and was most recently employed as an Assistant Attorney General with the Wisconsin Department of Justice where she represented state employees, including physicians and health care providers, in civil lawsuits in state and federal courts.

Laure graduated from Boston College in 2000 and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2003.
