Kendra Maier

Kendra Maier is University Legal Counsel and joined the office in 2022. Her primary practice areas include research compliance, public records/open meetings, copyright, and athletics. Before joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Kendra served as assistant dean for academic accreditation, policies, and operations at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Kendra graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School where she was senior managing editor of the Wisconsin International Law Journal. She also holds an MS in molecular biology from the University of California – San Diego, and an MPH from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
