Gesina (Ena) Carson joined the Office of Legal Affairs in 2024 and is Senior University Legal Counsel. Ena focuses her practice on employment law and student affairs.
Prior to joining the Office of Legal Affairs, Ena was employed by Axley Brynelson for 13 years and the Wisconsin Department of Justice for 7 years. While in private practice with Axley, she specialized in employment, civil rights, and insurance defense. As an Assistant Attorney General with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Ena represented state employees and agencies in employment, civil rights, and open government lawsuits in both state and federal courts.
Ena graduated from UW-Madison in 2002 and Marquette Law School in 2005.
